It's no secret that I am not so good at keeping up with a blog - note the 2 year gap below. That said, now that we are preparing for our next adventure, I am going to do my darnedest to stay with this so that I can better keep in touch and up to date with the next amazing step in our Navy life: Japan!
So, I sit now in an empty house with two kiddos running circles and listening to their voices echo as we hurry up and wait like a good Navy family. Next week we will enjoy a bittersweet trip to the Happiest Place on Earth and spend time with the in-laws before winding down our final days in Pax. Then, it's off to the Far East and all the excitement it has to offer. I plan to approach this as a true Wilderness Explorer: "Adventure is out there! Ca-caw, ca-caw, ROAR!"
